Think you're not chic enough for the French lifestyle? Au contraire, mes amis!
Freshen up your accent, grab your favorite beret and channel your inner Frenchie for a night of wine and movies at Napoleon Bistro & Lounge (1847 Columbia Road NW) tonight from 7-9 p.m. Reservations are highly recommended.
The bistro will unite with a cultural center, Alliance Française of Washington DC, to screen the 12 films nominated for the César Award for Best Short Film, which is essentially the French equivalent of an Academy Award.
The films will be shown in French, but English subtitles will scroll along the screen for everyone whose French vocab is limited to café goodies (crêpes, croissants and crème brûlée are it for us).
All Alliance Française members can sip free champagne from 6-7p.m., and in celebration of our friends across the pond, all French wine will also be half-priced for the night. Ahh, c'est la vie!
