Women's History Month Rally Set for Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — A rally for Women’s History Month is set for Annapolis.

It’s scheduled for Saturday on Lawyer’s Mall in front of the Maryland State House.

Participants are scheduled to highlight the importance of the Affordable Care Act, paid sick leave, immigration reform, paycheck fairness and other polices affecting women.

Members of Maryland’s congressional delegation are scheduled to attend. They include Sen. Chris Van Hollen and Reps. John Sarbanes and Jamie Raskin.

Maryland Del. Joseline Pena-Melnyk of Prince George’s County also is scheduled to attend.
