Need a Hotel for Inauguration? You Can Still Find One

WASHINGTON — It’s not too late to book a hotel room in or near Washington D.C. for the day of the presidential inauguration or the day after.

WTOP found availability in D.C., Maryland and Virginia, at high-end and less-pricey hotels.

WTOP also compared the rates hotels are charging on Friday, Jan. 20, and Saturday, Jan. 21, with rates for the following Friday to see the difference.

Some hotels are merely doubling their rates, while others are charging 10 times as much.
