Bicyclist Injured in SE DC Hit and Run

WASHINGTON — A bicyclist was injured in what police are calling a hit and run in Southeast D.C. in the early hours of Thursday.

The D.C. police say they were called just after 1 a.m. near the 2700 block of Minnesota Avenue, where the cyclist was struck. They haven’t released any information yet about the cyclist’s condition and are still investigating.

The area is closed to traffic until further notice. WTOP will continue to update this developing story.
