Nick Hogan is being released from jail tomorrow, according to his sister Brooke.
“As you all know, my [brother’s getting] out tomorrow… I cant (sic) even tell you, as a sister, how exciting this is for me,” Brooke blogged. “Nick and I are like best friends…and [I] cant believe how long [I’ve] gone without him.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Nick Hogan (real name Nick Bollea), was sentenced to eight months in jail in May after pleading no contents to felony reckless driving. Nick was out in his yellow Toyota in August 2007, with his friend, John Graziano, when he crashed the vehicle.
John Graziano is now in a minimal conscious state, one step above vegetative state, the 23 year-old’s family told local media ABC Action News earlier this month.
While it’s been widely reported that Nick faced a tough time during his first month in jail when — because of his minor status (he was 17) — he was isolated in solitary confinement for all but one hour of his day, Brooke noted it has been hard for her too. Brooke claimed that since the accident and jailing of her brother, people have expressed their displeasure with her brother and her family to her face and online.
“Some people wish terrible terrible things on us and say the the (sic) most nasty comments that I can’t even repeat on here,” she wrote. “It really hurts. I understand people have their own opinion, but most of the people that come up to us don’t know the whole story, or how much we really really love John.
