Because you're already sick of the cold and the Wizards, the Nationals have unveiled their spring training schedule so that have you something to look forward to.
The Nats open play in sunny Port St. Lucie, Fla., Feb. 23 against the New York Mets. That's 99 days from now if you want to start some sort of countdown. They will host their first home game at Space Coast Stadium in equally sunny Viera, Fla., the next day against the Miami Marlins.
In all, Washington will play 15 home games during the Spring Training season. If you want to make a trip down -- which I highly recommend -- tickets are cheap, starting at just $12.
By then, football season will be over, the Wizards will be 30 games under .500 and the Capitals may still be locked out, so what else is there to do?
