Sorry snowbunnies, but as predicted, snowflakes have yet to materialize for most of the region. While parts of western Maryland and eastern West Virginia are seeing an inch or so of a rain and snow mix, most of the Washington area will be contending with plain old rain through much of the day.
Storm Team 4 Meteorologist Veronica Johnson says the rain should let up by 6 p.m., but the weather system will continue to soak us steadily until then.
High temperatures through Wednesday will be in the 40s, but sunshine and warmer temperatures are coming toward the end of the week.
