The Nats are holding another Ladies Night Thursday, Aug. 20 at Nat Park (1500 S. Capitol St. S.E.). Hit up the all-inclusive pre-game happy hour from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on the rooftop deck for food, drinks and a bird's-eye view of all the not-in-the-know folks down below.
It SO beats tailgating in a dusty parking lot, with sweating cans of Miller Lite. Although that certainly has its charms.
During the pre-game event, not only will you get to, well, "pre-game," you'll also get the chance to meet Nats players and score free massages, manicure and product samples.
Before you head to your seat, indulge in a little stadium-side shopping that doesn't involve ballcaps, but instead makeup, jewelry and handbags. Jeez, could this get any more gloriously stereotypical?
Men are welcome, but should be prepared to get smushed by huge handbags at the bar. Just sayin.'
Tickets are $30 for both the all-inclusive happy hour and a field-level game ticket to see the Nats battle the Colorado Rockies (a $100 value). Even if guys think we can't do math -- uh, hello, our SAT scores were way better than yours -- we have to admit that's a pretty sweet deal.
