Get to the Travelin' Trunk Show Before It's Gone

Shopping for a good cause? No wonder she's smiling.

DC fashionistas, get excited for an afternoon of guilt-free shopping. Yeah, we didn't know there was such a glorious thing, either.

But this Saturday, Goodwill of Greater Washington’s Travelin’ Trunk Show is returning to Greater Goods (1626 U St. NW) from noon to 3 p.m. The trunk show will feature racks and racks of contemporary and vintage clothing, fabrics, buttons and beads. You can also donate items from your home and closet.

Even better, you can expect absolutely zero buyer's remorse. All proceeds from the trunk show will support Goodwill’s effort to educate, train and employ people with disabilities and disadvantages throughout the greater DC area.

Shopping for a good cause ... we can't think of another way we'd rather spend our Saturday. Except maybe playing with a flying unicorn while eating cupcakes and seeing kittens dance. But this is a close second.
