Pawfect Prints: Animal Art Auction

Art Auction to Benefit Homeward Trails

Are you one of those people who usually leaves the house covered in cat hair? It's OK -- we understand. If you're ready to fully embrace your life with fur kids, check out Homeward Trails Animal Rescue's Pawcasso Art Auction this Saturday April 24 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Council on Foreign Relations (1777 F St. N.W.), right by the White House.

This fun and furry auction will feature the best animal-themed artwork from local artists, including Joel S. Rotunda, Megan Nolton and Lisa Schumaier.

A separate silent auction will offer goodies such as restaurant gift certificates and private plane rides. Bid away, because proceeds from the charity auction are going to a good cause. The earnings from this art auction will allow Homeward Trails to improve rescue efforts and find families for dogs and cats in the D.C. area.

The event is $50 per person, and they will offer free hors d’oeuvres and a drink to visitors! Cocktail attire is requested.
