Confessed Cannibal Sentenced to Life in German Prison

Creep's victims were 13 and 14 years old.

A German nicknamed the "cannibal killer" was sentenced to life in prison after confessing that he ate the flesh and drank the blood of a teenager.

The 26-year-old man, identified by German courts only as "Jan O.," was convicted Monday of killing a 14-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy in November. He admitted at trial that he ate part of his female victim, named Nina, to "satisfy his sexual desires," according to The Associated Press.

He killed the boy five days later when he stumbled across Nina's body in the woods, according to AFP.

Goettingen State Court Judge Ralf Guenther said the murders showed an "almost unimaginable dimension of criminality." The killer was described in court as an alcoholic and a drug addict.

He will be sent to a psychiatric unit and will never be released because of the danger he posed to the public.
