Casey Di Nardo began playing field hockey in middle school and has since risen to immense collegiate and national successes.
In 2014, during her junior year at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Di Nardo started all 23 games as a forward. The previous year, she played in all of the team’s 24 games and started 16.
She was named to the National Team in the 2014-2015 season and will compete in her first Olympic Games in Rio. The Virginia Beach native is a journalism major and hopes to one day report from the sidelines and later become a TV anchor.
