President Barack Obama will try to charm the IOC.

President Obama’s approval rating have been down lately. If he wants some moral support, though, all he has to do is open the front door of the White House.

Washington is far more Democratic than any state in the country, according to Gallup. It found that Democrats outnumber  Republicans by 66 percent in the District. That margin is more than twice as large as any state.

Democrats may not be the only Washingtonians who support the commander-in-chief. Nearly nine out of 10 residents approve of the job he’s doing, according to a new Washington Post poll. That's a lot different from the rest of the country.  Just six out of 10 Americans are happy of his performance so far.
