    'Undeclared Milk' Forces Massive Recall of Chicken, Spaghetti Products

    A bread crumb company that may have omitted milk in their ingredients list has forced a massive recall of chicken and spaghetti and meatball products nationwide, the USDA announced. 

    Three brands that ship food to retailers and schools nationwide are subject to the recall, according to the agency: Conagra, Gourmet Boutique and Tyson Foods. 

    Tyson said 2,485,374 pounds of their ready-to-eat breaded chicken products will be recalled. The chicken meals were shipped for institutional use and some were purchased by schools, the USDA said. The affected items have the establishment number “P-1325” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

    Gourmet Boutique announced 294,744 pounds of ready-to-eat breaded chicken products are subject to the recall. The products were shipped to institutional locations across the country and have the establishment number “P-18799 or P-32107” inside the USDA mark of inspection. 

    Conagra Brands said 700,125 of their spaghetti and meatball products are subject to the recall. Household brand names like Chef Boyardee, Del Pino's spaghetti and Essential Everyday are included. The products were shipped to warehouses and scheduled to be sold at retailers nationwide. They have the establishment number “EST. 794M” inside the USDA mark of inspection, the USDA said.
