Three young children miraculously survived when a speeding van they were in flipped while being chased by police on Interstate 95 near Richmond, Va.

Police said the 19-year-old driver of the van tried to run troopers off the road last month before police flipped his van.

Police did not know the children were inside the van until after it crashed. The video shows officers rushing to the van and carrying the children to safety. Thankfully, the kids were in child seats and were not hurt. They belonged to the suspect’s girlfriend.

The driver faces three felony charges of child neglect in addition to an attempted capital murder charge. Attorneys for the teenager filed a motion for a competency hearing. He's being held without bond.
