In Virginia, more than 130 sailors and their families are spending Christmas together thanks to the generosity of 27 hotels in Norfolk and Virginia Beach.

Operation J.I.N.G.L.E, which stands for Join In Giving a Little Extra, provides three days of reduced rate lodging for sailors from more than 30 local units and commands who live on ships or in barracks. The hotels charge them $10 per room per night.
