Virginia Woman Accused of Murder-for-Hire Plot

A Dumfries, Va., woman is accused of trying to hire someone to kill her husband so she could collect insurance money, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

Police and the ATF Northern Virginia Violent Crimes Taskforce began investigating Sonia Guerrero Kuske, 34, in February, when they got word that she wanted her husband dead. She solicited an undercover detective to kill her husband, a U.S. Army master sergeant, police said.

Kuske offered a Dodge Charger for the hit, Pat Collins reported. Her husband drives a Charger.

Kuske was arrested Monday. A search warrant was executed at her house in the 5200 block of Spring Branch Boulevard, police said.

Kuske is charged with solicitation to commit capital murder and attempted capital murder. She is being held without bond.

A court date was set for May 31.
