A 6-year-old girl fell 18 feet from a ski lift at Massanutten Resort over the weekend.
The resort tells media outlets that the girl was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital and was released.
Sports and risk management director Kenny Hess says the accident occurred Sunday shortly after the ski lift was loaded. The girl was riding with an adult resort employee and two other children.
Hess says the resort is investigating to determine what caused the girl to fall.
