Toddler Sexually Assaulted in Prince William County: Police

Dayquan Michael Miller arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting 3-year-old

An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual battery following the alleged sexual assault of a 3-year-old girl, police said.

On Tuesday, police began an investigation into a sexual assault reported to have taken place in the 13100 block of Quade Lane.

Dayquan Michael Miller was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 3-year-old toddler while at a private residence, which is also a licensed daycare, officials said. The day care is run by the victim's mother, Ruby Miller, who is distraught over the allegations.

According to authorities, the victim was in the care of employees at the residence when the crime occurred. Other children were at the residence at the time of the assault, but no other known incidents were reported, police said.

The incident happened in a bathroom, and none of the other children saw it, News4's Pat Collins reported. The victim's parents noticed their daughter acting strange and asked her if she was OK, which is when she disclosed more about what had happened.

Dayquan Miller's mother said she took him to police for questioning.

He was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy and one count of aggravated sexual battery. He is being held without bond.
