An Ashburn, Va., teenager is charged with reckless driving from a March 14 accident that injured three children.
The 15-year-old driver had her learner's permit and was on a driving lesson with a parent.
They were driving along Morven Woods Court in Ashburn when the driver sped up, jumped a curb and ran onto a sidewalk where the children were playing.
The children were 7, 8 and 10 years old.
The 7-year old is still in the hospital. The other two were treated for minor injuries and later released.
