Montgomery County police are trying to track down a man who robbed two 7-Eleven stores at gunpoint.
One holdup happened on Oct. 12 about 11:43 p.m. at the 7-Eleven at 19235 Watkins Mill Road in Montgomery Village. Police released a photo from that robbery.
Two weeks later, the 7-Eleven located at 9051 Snouffer School Road in Gaithersburg was hit.
In both incidents, the robber was armed with a sawed off shotgun. He also pulled a white shopping bag from his pocket and demanded money from the cashier. Police believe he also had an accomplice who stayed outside during the holdups.
Anyone who may have information about these armed robberies or the suspects involved is asked to call the Major Crimes Division – Robbery Section at 240-773-5100.
