Prince George’s County Police are working on their second murder in as many days in Oxon Hill and wondering if the two are connected.

Police say that Kaya Wilson, 29, of Oxon Hill, was shot to death around 9 p.m. Saturday night in the 1100 block of Marcy Avenue.

Wilson lived on the 1000 block of Marcy Avenue, where, on Friday afternoon, police discovered a man stabbed to death. 20-year-old Jakari Butler was found with a stab wound in his upper body.  He was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made in either case, and police are still looking for suspects and a possible motive. Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit at (301) 772-4925. Anonymous callers may dial 1-866-411- TIPS (8477).
