Montgomery County police are searching for a missing Gaithersburg teen and her 3-week-old son.
Elexis Lynn Kirby, 17, was last seen Sunday leaving the area of Quince Orchard Boulevard with her son.
Kirby is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds and has brown eyes. Investigators says she may be wearing her black hair in braids. She was last seen wearing black pants and a black shirt.
Her son, Zamor Kirby, is biracial and was last seen wearing a onesie.
Investigators say Elexis Kirby has been in contact with a family member via text message, but she has not said where she is located.
Elexis is known to frequent shopping centers in the area of Montrose Parkway and Rockville Pike in Rockville.
