Police at the University of Maryland have a warning after four people on campus were robbed while playing Pokemon Go. News4's Meagan Fitzgerald reports. (Published Wednesday, July 13, 2016)

Police have released images of a person of interest in the robbery of three University of Maryland students who were playing "Pokemon Go" on the university's College Park campus.

Three separate robberies were reported Tuesday night between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. outside Tydings, Tawes and Queen Anne's halls, University of Maryland police said.

Police say three of the victims were playing "Pokemon Go" when they were robbed. A fourth victim wasn't playing the popular game, but was holding a phone.

The suspect, who was wearing black clothing, showed a black handgun in two of the incidents and took the victims' cell phones.

    The victims were not injured.

Police say officers searched the area but were not able to find the suspect. They released two surveillance images Monday of a person of interest in the case.
