Police arrested a Maryland man in connection with a deadly shooting that happened outside a Dupont Circle Restaurant during Thanksgiving weekend.

Prosecutors charged 29-year-old Brandon Terry with second-degree murder while armed.

He is accused of shooting 34-year-old Jhonte Coleman outside of Heritage India on Connecticut Avenue in Northwest Washington.

At the time, D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier shut down the restaurant. It has since reopened.
