Starting this morning, Metro riders can pay for parking at two metro stations using their cell phones.

Metro is starting its pilot program allowing riders to use Park Mobile at the Fort Totten and Rockville stations.

Metro riders can now pay-by-phone in the kiss and ride lots.

If the program is successful, Metro could expand it to other stations.

The same system allows drivers to pay-by-phone at meters in the District.
