Starting Sunday night, three of the four lanes of the Outer Loop will be closed between Georgetown Pike and the Oak Street Overpass.

The construction will last throughout the week during overnight hours.

After midnight, drivers could actually see full closures of the highway for up to 30 minutes.

It’s part of the Beltway Express Lanes project. Crews will pave roads and install new signs.

All lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. each morning for rush hour.
