One Person Found Dead After House Fire



    One person was killed after a home in Baltimore County caught fire early Sunday morning.

    Baltimore County Fire officials said units were sent to the 1300 block of Selling Avenue in Rosedale and found a house on fire. Once on the scene, they learned there was possibly one person still inside the burning building.

    Fire crews were able to extinguish the flames quickly and found the body of a 49-year-old person inside the home.

    A 12-year-old was able to escape from the home after smoke detectors woke him up. He was not injured.

    The cause of death and the cause of the fire are still being investigated.
