One Dead in Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-95N

One person was killed Tuesday morning in a four-vehicle accident on I-95 north in Stafford County.

Police say Tyshaun Holloway was driving his 2004 Mecury sedan southbound on I-95 when he ran off the left side of the highway, crossed the median and struck a 2010 Toyota sedan in the northbound lanes.

The Toyota then hit a 2008 Chevrolet HHR and a 2013 two-axle box truck.

Holloway was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. His passenger, 20-year-old Dejonniza White, 20, of Bronx, N.Y., died at the scene.

The 36-year-old driver of the Toyota, a Fredericksburg man, was treated at an area hospital and released.

No other injuries were reported.

Holloway has been charged with reckless driving.

Police are still working to determine what caused the crash.
