Prince George's County Police are still trying to figure out what caused a driver to slam into a Oxon Hill restaurant early Monday morning.
The driver of the minivan lost control of the vehicle in the 6200 block of Oxon Hill Road and crashed into Danny's Carryout, coming to a rest at the restaurant's counter.
Officials are holding off on towing the vehicle away out of concern for the structural integrity of the building. A large crack can be seen in the side of the building; there are concerns it could collapse.
There's no word on the condition of the driver or any passengers.
An inspector has been called to the scene.
