WASHINGTON -- Subway riders should expect delays of up to a half hour on weeknights after 9:30 p.m. this month as Metro makes repairs on most lines, the transit agency said.

Repairs are being made Sunday through Thursday nights from 9:30 p.m. to midnight. Customers should expect delays of 20 to 30 minutes on the Red, Blue, Orange and Yellow lines.

Workers will make repairs on the Red Line between the Medical Center and Grosvenor-Strathmore stations, Metro said.

On the Orange Line, repairs will be made between the Cheverly and New Carrollton stations. Work on the Blue Line will involve replacing concrete slabs under the rails between Stadium-Armory and Addison Road-Seat Pleasant.

On the Yellow Line, repairs will be made between Huntington and Braddock Road.
