D.C. Council member Marion Barry and the Washington Redskins joined other community groups in the D.C. area Tuesday to donate turkeys for families in need. As Tom Sherwood reports, those taking part in today's turkey giveaways feel it goes beyond filling a plate this Thanksgiving. (Published Thursday, Nov 21, 2013)

On both evenings, the last Blue Line train headed toward Franconia-Springfield will leave at 12:25 a.m., and the last Blue Line train to Largo Town Center will leave at 1:33 a.m.

Riders will be able to transfer to other lines as follows:

Orange Line: transfer at Stadium-Armory Green and Yellow lines: transfer at L'Enfant Plaza Red Line: transfer at Metro Center

Entrances to all other Metro stations will close at their usual times, but riders will be able to exit any station during the extra hour of service.

Metro said the extended service is funded by an agreement with the Washington Redskins.
