A Mercedes was driven through a parking space into a front brick façade, knocking over a light pole, in Bowie, Md., Monday afternoon, police said.

A woman drove the vehicle into the brick exterior of an AT&T store in the 3900 block of Town Center Boulevard about 1:45 p.m., authorities said.

Employees and customers were evacuated from the store.

The driver was treated for her injuries at the scene and was taken to an area hospital for a check-up.

Police continue to investigate.
