Police in Anne Arundel County are investigating the death of a man in Brooklyn Park Friday night.
Officers were called to the 6000 block of Ritchie Highway just after 9 p.m. after receiving a report of an assault. 50-year-old Nick Gartelman Sr. was found at the scene and transported to Harbor Hospital, where he later died.
Investigators from the Anne Arundel Police Department have not been able to determine the cause of death, though they believe that Gartelman was involved in an altercation with another man prior to the assault report.
