Man Wanted For Wheaton Woman's Death

31-year-old Matire Puente-Fulcar wanted for first-degree murder

Montgomery County Police are looking for a man who they say murdered his girlfriend.

Martire Puente-Fulcar, 31, is wanted for first-degree murder in the death of Marcello Rocio Nikaury, 37, of Wheaton. Nikaury's body was found in the stairwell of her apartment on Georgian Way at around 3:30 a.m. Saturday by police, who had been called to the residence after receiving a report of domestic assault.

Detectives say that Puente-Fulcar lived in the apartment with Nikaury and her three children.

Puente-Fulcar is described as standing 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 190 pounds. He has short black hair and was last seen wearing an orange shirt and tan pants. Police say he may be driving a black Ford Edge with Maryland temporary plates T558404.
