A D.C. man accused of armed robbery was arrested after a potential victim stabbed him in the chest Friday evening.

Daniels and another man allegedly tried to mug two people while they were walking home from an event on Carroll Street in Washington, D.C. The victims reported the incident to police, and Daniels was discovered being treated for his wounds at the Takoma Park Metro station.
Daniels was taken to MedStar in critical condition and was rush into surgery. The other man has not been identified, but has been described as a black man wearing a black jacket and dark jeans. He was last seen boarding a Metro train.
