A man was found dead in a car early Thursday in Northwest D.C.
Police said he apparently died of a gunshot wound. Officers found the man's body in the 800 block of Jefferson St. NW shortly before 2 a.m., when they arrived for the report of a shooting.
D.C. police said they found the victim unresponsive; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jefferson and 8th street were closed as police investigated.
