JESUS, MARY AND JOSEPH USED TO SMUGGLE COCAINE
Washington Examiner: "A 47-year-old British man is accused of filling religious statues of Jesus, Mary and Joseph with cocaine in a failed smuggling try.  Stephen J. Ingle, of London, was arrested at Washington Dulles International Airport. Ingle, who was making his way to London from Argentina, has been charged with importing a controlled substance.

At a secondary screening area, authorities detected that his shoulder bag and two ceramic religious statues seemed heavier than typical items of their size, according to court records and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Customs officers found items stitched inside the shoulder bag."

SMOKE-FREE BUS SHELTER
wtop.com: "Forget about lighting up a smoke when you are in a Fairfax County bus shelter.  The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the ban Tuesday.  It goes into effect Dec. 1. It comes with a $25 fine and will be enforced by Fairfax County police officers"

COMMUNITY WANTS TO BAN DANCES
Gazette: "Residents of the Spring Meadows Community in Bowie are circulating a petition urging officials to ban late-night dance events at the West Bowie Village Hall on Old Annapolis Road after a fatal shooting in the parking lot on Oct. 9. 'We'd like to see a permanent ban on parties at night,' said Sammy Pulliam, a resident of the Spring Meadows community, at a Bowie city council meeting Monday night."
