Lightning Strikes at Reagan National Airport

Lightning struck at Reagan National Airport Wednesday morning, according to airport spokesperson Rob Yingling.

The strike occurred around 11 a.m. near American Airlines gate 32, Yingling said.

Two ramp workers were nearby the strike and were taken to the hospital. They are expected to be OK.

They were not struck directly.
