LIVE CAM: New Egg Appears in One DC Bald Eagle Nest

The eagle watch is back on -- one of D.C.'s three bald eagle couples could be growing its family.

A new egg has appeared in the nest of Liberty and Justice, two bald eagles who have been nesting near the Metropolitan Police Department headquarters. A live camera is trained on the nest, courtesy of the Earth Conservation Corps.

The egg was spotted on Sunday, and more could be on the way. The eggs should hatch about 35 days after being laid.

This nest is just one of three established around Washington by different pairs of eagles.
