Johnson will report to Butner Federal Prison in North Carolina, where a judge sentenced him to more than seven years behind bars.

Last May, Johnson pleaded guilty to corruption charges for taking bribes and kickbacks in exchange for helping a housing developer secure federal funding.

The prison he’s reporting to also houses Ponzi scheme architect Bernie Madoff.

Johnson’s wife, Leslie, is set to report to federal prison in West Virginia in early March.

She was charged with trying to destroy evidence for flushing a $100,000 check down the toilet and stuffing cash into her bra when the FBI searched their home in November 2010.

She was sentenced to 12 months in prison.
