Gas prices are down slightly in most areas of our region, and they may continue to drop.
New numbers in on Monday morning from AAA show Maryland’s average is down one cent to $3.89 per gallon.
Virginia drivers are paying about one cent lower, as well, at $3.82 per gallon.
West Virginia drivers can expect to pay $3.89 a gallon, a fraction of a penny less.
In contrast, District drivers are paying about one penny more for their gas Monday morning, shelling out $4.14 per gallon at the pump.
Some good news? Experts say gas could fall about five cents or more this week.
