A motorcyclist was killed early Sunday morning after striking an SUV in Fort Washington.
Police say that a motorcycle was traveling north on Indian Head Highway at a high rate of speed when he struck an SUV that was turning left from the southbound lanes into an apartment complex just before Livingston Road.
Police have not released the name of the motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Passengers in the SUV were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
