B-W Parkway Reopens After Fatal Crash

The southbound lanes of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway were closed Wednesday morning at Route 193 due to a fatal accident.
The car crashed at about 4 a.m. in the area between the northbound and southbound lanes. Police said the driver of the vehicle died at the scene.
The southbound lanes were closed until about 9 a.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
The next NBC Washington PNC Bank Community Shred is scheduled for June 16, 2012.
