A Fairfax County dry cleaners closed up shop with customers clothes still inside, according to customers.
For days now customers have been stopping by the Action Cleaners at the shopping center along Annandale Road in Falls Church trying to get their hands on their clothes.
Customers said there was a note on the front door with a phone number, but the voicemail is full and now the note is gone.
News4 has learned the Fairfax County Department of Consumer Affairs is currently investigating three complaints from customers who can’t get their clothes back.
The shopping center is slated for demolition.
Tenants have to be out by the end of January.
The shopping centers landlords said they heard the owner opened another dry cleaner business, but they don't know where it is.
