A 33-year-old man who was gunned down in Southeast Washington last month has passed away from his injuries.
Crews responded to the 4500 block of Benning Road SE Jan. 21 around 2 a.m. There, they located Earnest J. McWilliams suffering from gunshot wounds. He was hospitalized in critical condition, and passed away from his injuries Saturday.
