A dump truck overturned on the inner loop of the Beltway Thursday morning, spilling fuel onto the roadway.
Maryland State Police and Montgomery County Fire crews were called to the ramp to River Road in Bethesda around 11:30 a.m. Officials say the driver was able to get out of the truck safely.
Fuel from the fuel tank of the truck spilled onto the road. HAZMAT crews have been called to the scene.
There's no word on what caused the accident. No serious injuries were reported.
The ramp from the inner loop to River Road is closed while police complete their investigation.
