North American Aerospace Defense Command jets may be screaming oerhead tonight, but we're still at DEFCON 5.

NORAD aircraft will practice incerception and identification drills over Washington skies from 3:30 to 5:30 a.m. early on Wednesday.

Civil Air Patrol aircraft, Air Force F-16s and a Coast Guard HH-65 Dolphin helicopter will all take part.

Anyone else requesting a flyby may find that the pattern is full.
