The Consumer Product Safety Commission says about 1-million drain covers were given the wrong rating.

That means they may not be able to handle the flow of water, and swimmers could get trapped in them and drown.

The covers were sold nationwide over the last three years.

Safety experts say pools with these faulty covers should remain closed until the drains are adjusted or replaced.
