District of Columbia police arrested a 14-year-old girl for calling in false threats to a middle school.
Police said the girl called the administrative office of McKinley Middle School several times on Friday to report that clowns were coming to the school with weapons and advised that the school should be evacuated. Police said the suspect then hung up the phone without giving them her name.
Police arrested the girl on Friday. She was been charged with filing a false report of a weapon of mass destruction.
